I just updated WP and Visual Composer but there is no any issue.
You can try active default theme of WP, i think it's theme bug.

The composer everytime i delete it and install it again i install the latest version? I thought I was getting the latest version with the date of the latest template update
Yes, next time you can delete it and install it again to update it.
