I have installed the theme and the demo data. I intended to use the same sidebar as is. I tried to change image. then the whole layout was messed. why did this happen? i tried to remove all the sidebars still looking messed.
Is there a way i can use the theme without breaking every time i try to use it ?
I am trying to use the archi-child theme as i need to amend the styles and css. Whenever i am using it, something is updating then deleting the css file. That's why it's reverting to the "Twenty Fifteen" theme and i was not using it on purpose...
But if the archi-child theme is not working from your end, i can see how i can manage to amend the original theme without breaking on update.
But i think you should work on the archi-child theme as it's very important to have it so that people can customize the theme to their needs.

It's not showing the template drop down
the archi child theme is missing the css file, it has done this more than once, that's why the template drop down is not showing.
It did the same issue for 4 times now, i have replaced the css multiple times and re uploaded it.
I dont know why it;s being erased....

You're select theme "Twenty Fifteen" (default of wp) and you say "not showing the template drop down ".
When i active "archi theme", your back-end is fine. You can check again!

check the theme page and check the below image. I have not worked on the website since yesterday
I think you should check your hosting, something removed style.css file. The problem wasn't from child theme.
