2. How to translate the theme with Loco Translate plugin?

Hi,

1a, Setting WordPress in your language: Admin page to Settings > General > Site Language and select from the list of available languages.

3. How to Upload WordPress Theme

A common issue that can occur when installing a WordPress themes is “The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.” error message being displayed when uploading or activating the theme.

One of the reasons you may receive this error is if you have uploaded the incorrect file. You have 2 options for downloading your theme.

1. Installable WordPress file only. (below)

2. All files and documentation (full zip folder). You will need to extract and locate the installable WordPress file. (below)


Please make sure you are uploading only the installable theme which is called Name Of theme-name.zip. If you upload ALL these files you will receive an error.

Way 1: Upload the theme via WordPress admin panel

4. How to Update Plugin Included?

In order to update the plugins included in the theme you need to:

Way I, Update plugins via update new theme:

1, Install the latest version of the theme.

2, In WordPress Admin Panel => go to Plugins => Deactivate and Delete all the premium plugins, e.g : WPBakery Visual Composer, Slider Revolution, LayerSlider WP, etc...

3, In WordPress Admin Panel => go to Appearance > Install Plugins and re-install all the premium plugins.

Way II, Update plugins, but don't want update new theme:

If you don't want to update the theme but want to update the plugins.

1, Re-download the newest version of the theme from themeforest, click download button and chooise "All files & Documentation".

2, Unzip theme package .zip file to a folder and find in theme package has a folder plugins.

3, In WordPress Admin Panel => go to Plugins => Deactivate and Delete all the premium plugins, e.g : WPBakery Visual Composer, Slider Revolution, LayerSlider WP, etc...

4, In WordPress Admin Panel => go to Plugins => Add New => Upload Plugin => Install and Active plugins.


=> If you still need help with updating the plugins please create a ticket under category of your theme use.

5. What To Do If Demo Content Import Fails

If the import stalls and fails to respond after a few minutes, or it fails with a simple error message like “Import failed,” You are suffering from PHP configuration limits that are set too low to complete the process. You should contact your web host and ask them to increase those limits to a minimum as follows:

You can verify your PHP configuration limits by installing a simple plugin found here. And you can also check your PHP error logs to see the exact error being returned.

Also if possible update your PHP version to 5.5

After doing this you can reset your database using the WordPress Database Reset Plugin and try to re-import the demo data ( WARNING : Reset the database will make you lost all the data of your current wordpress )

If you still have problem your web host may uses process watching software that prevents bulk processing on their web servers.

2. Update theme by manually via FTP or via WordPress Admin Panel :

a, Re-download theme package from https://themeforest.net/downloads
b, Download "Installable WordPress file only" : 

c, Extract the theme package .ZIP file to a folder of the theme name. 

d, Use FTP client software (FileZilla, SmartFTP, CuteFTP, etc...) to upload your theme on your hosting.

e, It's upload replace your old theme with your new theme with path on your hosting is : /wp-content/themes/

f, Update done and check your website.

7. How to import Slider Revolution?

Hi Everyone,

1, Make sure you have successfully installed the Slider Revolution plugin for your site.


2, Go to your WP admin page -> Slider Revolution -> Import Slider


3, Find slider import zip from your computer (In theme package -> data_export -> slider-name.zip)

Browse

Select the slider import zip from your computer.

Custom Animations / Static Styles

Overwrite:

Overwrite previous styles and animations with those from the imported slider.

Append:

Preserve previous styles and custom animations (usually the best option).

11. Hosting Requirements to running WordPress Theme.

To run WordPress we recommend your host supports:

Please make sure  that you are running version WordPress 4.8.x or higher version, version PHP 5.6 or higher version and version MySQL 5.6 or higher  version(for legal environments also needing versions  PHP 5.6 will work well, but it is recommended to be on at least version PHP 5.7). We have tested it with  many OSs such as MAC, Windows and Linux... Below is a list of items you should ensure that your host can comply with them. 

Hosting is more secure when PHP applications, like WordPress which is runing use your account’s username instead of the server’s default shared username (www or www-data). The most common way for hosting companies to do this is use suPHP. Just ask your potential host if they run suPHP or something similar.

What we support

The item support period

A supported item includes item support for 6 months from the purchase date. During those 6 months, the author is expected to be available to provide the item support services we’ve set out on this page. Response times by authors can vary depending on the volume of inquiries, the nature of the request, and whether questions have already been answered or support has already been provided (see ‘fair-use’ later on).

If you’re about to purchase the item, you’ll have the option to purchase extended item support, increasing the item support period up to a maximum of 12 months from the date of purchase.

Answering questions about how to use the item

During the item support period, the author is expected to be available to answer your general questions about the item and how to use it. For example, how do I get my homepage to look like the one in the preview? The response to this type of question can come in various formats including directing you to an already documented response (e.g. in the comments or FAQs).

Answering technical questions about the item (and included third party assets)

During the item support period the author is expected to be available to:

Help with defects in the item or included third party assets

During the item support period, you can report and discuss bugs and minor item defects with the author, and authors are expected to be available to assist you with reported bugs. If appropriate, authors may issue bug fixes directly to you as part of item support. (If an author decides to address a bug fix through a general version update, that update will be available to all buyers.)

A supported item may include third party functionality or items from other authors such as plugins, image sliders or contact forms. During the item support period, the author is expected to be available to assist with questions about third party assets, and to either help you to address particular issues with the third party asset or direct you to where you can find the solution.

Item updates to ensure ongoing compatibility and to resolve security vulnerabilities

If a supported item includes a third party asset (e.g., a plugin), or is intended to work with third party software or platforms (e.g. a CMS), authors are expected to ensure the item remains compatible if the software or platform version is updated. This includes if the third party asset has a security update. Item updates of this type will generally be delivered as version updates available to all buyers. Choosing a supported item (or upgrading to extended support) ensures you’re getting an item that’s backed by the author, and enables our authors to maintain their items in these ways.

Installation of the item

Buyers have varying levels of experience with different software platforms and technologies and getting your item up and running can depend on many variables that are specific to your circumstances. You’ll need to have a working knowledge of the software platforms and technologies for which items are created, so item support does not include help to install the item on your server or on a CMS. Hosting, server environment, or software

Authors are not required to support issues about your web hosting or server environment, or issues with the software you’ve got installed on your machine to use the item. Please check your ISP/web hosting provider or other software documentation that you’re trying to use to help solve your issues.

Help from authors of included third party assets

If a supported item includes a third party asset (e.g. a plugin or slider), the author of the third party asset is not required to provide support for that asset to buyers of the supported item. Direct your questions about third party assets to the author of the item you purchased.

15. Increase the PHP Time Limit

The PHP Time Limit refers to the amount of time (in seconds) that your site will spend on a single operation before timing out (to avoid server lockups). To prevent the importing process from timing out, the value needs to be increased. 300 (seconds) should be enough for processing the import file.

(Beginner) Ask your hosting company to increase it

The easiest way is to reach out to your hosting company and ask them to increase the max_execution_time to 300.

(Advanced) Increase the Max Execution Time via php.ini

Connect to your server via FTP and find or create the php.ini file. The following line must be added to it:

max_execution_time = 300;

(Advanced) Increase the Max Execution Time via .htaccess
